My very special little boy, who never learned to laugh or cry but lit up our lives with his twinkling eyes. So loved by so many in his brief time. He fought so many battles and was the biggest hero in our lives. Still in our hearts and mind never leaving just waiting. Went to sleep in mummy's arms on January 20th 2003 after battling from the day he was born...
Tristan arrived in this world sleeping on Dec 27th 1991 his twin was lost at 14 weeks, after a tremendous effort on the part of the doctors and team he was resuscitated. The damage to his little brain was over 80% but he still had a will to live, after 8 weeks in special care he came home with enough medical equipment to run a hospital. He came home to spend what they thought would be his last weeks of life, my angel defied everything they said and lived for over a year and it was the hardest most amazing year in our lives, He was tube fed and oxygenated all the time and forever needed suction, but he was brave and had the courage of a hero, my hero! After a long battle and countless hospital stays he finally went to sleep cuddled in bed with his brother and sister and me, Thank you Tristan for that last tremendous effort for us to be together at the end.... you will always be my hero and my angel forever your mummy x x xx

Hello baby Tristan my son Ryan slept in a cot for a short while next to yours on special care while your mammy and me stayed on the unit to take care of you both. Ryan was born on the 7th of January 1992 thankfully he was allowed home after 10 days and it will be his 18th birthday this week. I often think about you and baby Jessica who sadly also went to play with the angels when i look back at Ryans baby video taken during his stay on the unit both Jessica and you can both seen on it, you where a beautiful little boy and your mammy must be very proud, she must miss u like crazy.
Tristan i bet your a big strapping 18 year old now and breaking lots of angel girls hearts. Take care sweetheart and watch over your family.
